A Clog in the Machine

Daily Poetry

The machine is saddened, a thorn in its side.
Its parts are stiff and won’t abide.

A blue jay,
finds twigs off an old gear.
having a good day.
he plucks it off the ear.

Gears turn,
a rhythm renewed.
The machine is happy,
with the bird, they flew.
