Left, right, forward, back,
no direction makes sense!
Lost between walls, too tall.
Muscles exhausted from grueling hours, walking back and forth.
Dizzy and disoriented inside this endless prison.
“This place seems familiar,”
unable to learn the lessons of failure, a cycle repeated again and again.
Patience as thin as ice, as fragile as my sanity
I’m starving for a victory.
I plead – even an ounce of the nectar of progress would sate me.
