Hello old friend.
How have you been?
Things haven’t been the same since you left.
Hope you’re enjoying your rest.
I got a pain in my hand that won’t go away.
Not to mention the other aches and pains,
and the mountain of troubles that will always stay.
Must be nice not to worry about stress.
I am jealous.
The bills come due soon, and I’m still without a job.
So much effort looking, time I’ve been robbed.
I envy you, no longer needing to fear of homelessness.
I’m restless.
I’m going to do my best to get my life on track before I come visit you.
One day, I pray I will find my breakthrough.
Say “hi” to my parents and the dogs while you’re there for me.
I’ll let you be.
Wish me luck. I’m going to need it.
