Sea of Glass – Poetry by Kibbolt
A fantasy poem of a mystical realm deep within the Sandaharian Desert
An arduous trek, to an alien land.
A treacherous desert, miles of sand.
A border into a mystical realm,
stretching endlessly, we are overwhelmed.
Across the Sea of Glass we ride,
Where stars like frost in fractures bide.
Its surface hums, a brittle song,
Alien whispers, sharp and strong.
Crystal pillars imposing and tall,
a war of giants, their arrows fall.
So the stories tell, of an apocalyptic blast,
forging the sand in the vast.
Companions bold, with eyes like flame,
Chase echoes of an elder’s name.
The sea’s cold gaze, a mirror vast,
Reflects our souls, unbound, uncast.
Down under, lies a gem,
its stories sing a mystical hymn.
It paints the depths a pulsing light,
Veins of cosmos, coiled in night.
O gem, O heart of worlds unseen,
Your glow’s a riddle, fierce, serene.
We carve our path through crystal deep,
To claim what gods and voids would keep.
