Starlight Sonata
Daily Poetry
A film projected into the night sky,
a story of stars, a wonder for the eyes,
reason why I live and do not shy nor cry,
except tears of joy, as I lie near the shore.
Streaks of light they race a million miles
above the aurora, past our humble orb
swimming in this vast cosmos,
beauty galore.
Dance lights, dance, with your shining bright whites. Dance through that wave, hues of green, purple and blue.
A spectacle due, I’ll never rue, a once in a lifetime opportunity, witnessed by a few.
