Hello viewers!
Here is your weekly recap for the new years!
But first, enjoy an insightful poem by yours truly:
Vows
The “new year, new me” tripe is as old as time.
Vague promises of self-improvement
wealth,
a vision,
an ideal,
swallowed by the sin of sloth,
exploiting your perpetual habits.
Decades of rituals magnetize you to a cold steel sheet.
You want to move.
Stagnation pains you,
but the resistance is too strong –
you are too comfortable still.
Feelings of inadequacies loom in your mind,
itching you like gnats slowly consuming you,
flesh and soul.
Yet, the discomfort of change is an irreconcilable hell. Somehow.
What other choice is there?
What if this is the final year, and the mortal coil snaps
and God calls you into the gates?
Would you accept that?
Is certainty and comfort worth the stagnation?
The peace and quiet?
Or will you instead wrestle the bear and face its lashing claws
as it refuses to give in what you are owed for your trials and tribulations?
Fight.

Shovels worked tirelessly to keep the roads clear for the fleece-covered citizenry to shop, commune, and celebrate, but the dwarven salts did well to keep the ground ice-free. Miniature lante…
