Hello and happy early Thanksgiving! I pray you all have a wonderful time with your families and a bountiful feast.
Today, as usual on Wednesdays, here I wish to showcase you all the poems, and my latest short story you may have missed.
Poems
The short story I wish to share involves some gruesome horror elements. While it is a month late for Halloween, I still think you will all enjoy it!
I also will be showcasing my articles as well. This one is a deep dive into the most sold manga, and most popular anime, “One Piece”. There’s a lot to learn about the author, Eiichiro Oda, and the great lengths he went to in order to make this magnus opus.
And now, here is my latest daily poem!
Family
A gentle hearth, as warm as the ceiling lights over the dinner table,
decorated with an abundant feast.
Gratitude as warm as the home, as warm as the meal.
Celebrating another year of community in a world trying to break us apart.
Why do I feel a chill?
I feel like a stranger, as if I don’t belong here.
This awkward presence in my heart that cannot be quenched by my full stomach.
Yet, still ever welcomed.
Happy Thanksgiving, Michael!
