The anime made me realised that I was missing a whole area of media. I think I binged it after coming from Trigun. Then it was Full Metal Alchemist, then Cowboy Bebop. It was these three, as my introduction into serialised anime that really moulded me.
I would then go on to Akira and Ghost In The Shell.
Full Metal Alchemist remains as such a crucial standpoint in this journey as I felt there was something to be said about family and hardship. There was something to be said about balance and what the weight of something is worth.
Writing a poem on a piece of beloved fiction is a great idea, and you executed it well.
And Fullmetal is always the first anime I recommend to people. I believe it to be the greatest example of anime storytelling. The only problem with it is that it sets the bar too high, and most anime and other programming have a hard time competing.

Thank you for reading!
I too grew up with Cowboy Bebop and Trigun, both amazing staples of anime!

I'm glad you enjoyed the poem!
And I agree, it is really tough to find an anime at it's level, but it should still be an example everyone should strive for.
